Easy to learn, simple to use

Switch to MORA Doc without relearning

On MORA Office for Windows, keyboard shortcuts follow your Word habits. New users are productive from day one.

Line spacing and indents

Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2 and Ctrl+5 set single, double and 1.5 spacing. Ctrl+M and Ctrl+Shift+M increase and decrease indents.

Clear formatting fast

Ctrl+Space clears character formatting and Ctrl+Q clears paragraph formatting, just like Word.

Headings and fonts

Ctrl+Alt+1, 2, 3 apply Heading 1 to 3. Ctrl+D opens the Font dialog. Ctrl+Shift+C copies formatting.

Save and open like Office

F12 for Save As, Shift+F12 to Save, Ctrl+F12 to Open, as in the Office apps you use.

Tables like Word

Shading fills the whole cell. Select a table and press Backspace to delete it. Right-click a cell for text alignment.

Author name filled in

On first launch, MORA Office uses your Office user name or Windows account, so comments and tracked changes show the right author.

Does MORA Doc open Word files?

Yes. MORA Doc opens, edits and saves .docx files directly, plus legacy .doc, .odt and .rtf files. MORA Doc saves .docx by default, so anyone can open your files.

Are MORA Doc shortcuts the same as Word?

On MORA Office for Windows, the common shortcuts work as in Word: Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2 and Ctrl+5 for line spacing, Ctrl+M to indent, Ctrl+Space and Ctrl+Q to clear character and paragraph formatting, Ctrl+Alt+1, 2, 3 for headings, F12 for Save As. Yes. The Mailings tab merges letters from a data list, such as a MORA Sheet spreadsheet, to create invitations and notices for many people at once.

Turn on Track Changes to record every edit and add comments right in the document. Reviewers then accept or reject each change before the final version.
