Privacy policy

Effective from 14 September 2026. This policy describes the data processed by MORA Office and the services at office.mora.vn, the purposes, the retention periods and your rights, in accordance with the Law on Network Information Security, Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection and related regulations.

1. Principles

  • Your documents stay on your computer. The Software does not upload document content, file names or file lists to servers.
  • Only the minimum technical data needed for licensing, updates, purchase notices and support is collected.
  • Personal data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

2. Data the Software sends to servers

  • Update check (daily). Data: version, operating system, architecture. Purpose: find out whether a new version exists. Retention: server logs, 30 days.
  • Purchase notice before activation (each time an application opens). Data: machine ID (a one-way hash of the Windows identifier), computer name, application, version, language, IP address. Purpose: show prices and advertising in the right language, apply remote configuration; count machines. Retention: until you request deletion.
  • License activation and verification. Data: license key, machine ID, computer name, version, language, IP. Purpose: issue and verify licenses, limit the number of machines. Retention: for the license term plus 5 years (records).
  • License purchase. Data: full name or company name, tax code, address, email, phone number, amount, transfer reference. Purpose: issue the key, certificate and invoice; accounting obligations. Retention: 10 years, as required by invoice and accounting record regulations.
  • Feedback page. Data: name, email, content, attached images or files, a 14-day identification cookie. Purpose: resolve issues, improve the product, hall of fame. Retention: 2 years from the last message.

The machine ID is the SHA-256 hash of the Windows machine identifier; it cannot be reversed to the original identifier and contains no user information.

3. Data not collected

Document content, file names, paths, activity history, keystrokes, geographic location, contacts, browser data. The Software does not send crash reports automatically.

4. The office.mora.vn website

The server keeps access logs (IP address, time, pages opened, browser) for 30 days for operations and security. The website uses no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics services. The purchase page and the feedback page use technical cookies to maintain sessions.

5. Payments

Payments are made by bank transfer through your bank. MORA does not collect card numbers, banking passwords or any authentication information; the system only receives transaction notifications (amount, reference, time, transaction ID) from the receiving bank to match orders.

6. Data sharing

Data is shared only with: (a) banks and transaction-notification processors, to reconcile payments; (b) the e-invoice service provider, to issue invoices as required by law; (c) competent state authorities upon lawful request. There are no other parties.

7. Storage and security

Data is stored on servers in data centers with access control, transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections and backed up daily; administrative access uses strong passwords or single sign-on and is logged. License keys are digitally signed so that they cannot be forged.

8. Your rights

You have the right to request access to, a copy of, correction or deletion of your personal data, to withdraw your consent or to object to processing, as provided by law. Send your request to hotro@mora.vn with your machine ID or registered email address; MORA responds within 72 hours and completes the request within 30 days at most, except for data that must be retained for accounting and tax obligations.

9. Children

The license purchase service and the feedback page are intended for persons aged 18 or over and for organizations. The Software does not collect data to identify children.

When you sign in at id.mora.vn or save files to cloud.mora.vn, your data is processed under the policy of each of those services.

11. Changes

New versions of this policy are posted on this page with their effective date; significant changes are announced in the Software or by email to your registered address.
